Program
ACL Telecom LLC dba Heritage Telecom (“Heritage Telecom” or “Heritage”) offers low-volume, one-to-one conversational text messaging for people communicating with Heritage about a specific sales, service, support, account, or other business request. The program is not currently used for marketing campaigns, general alerts, or authentication messages.
Messages may come from Heritage’s main number, 616-465-5001, or an assigned Heritage employee direct telephone number. The individual number used for a conversation may vary.
Consent
You may consent by asking or agreeing verbally to communicate by text, or by initiating a text conversation with Heritage. Consent applies to the Heritage conversation and telephone number involved. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies according to the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Contact your wireless carrier for information about your plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Opting out and help
Reply STOP at any time to stop text messages from the sending number. Heritage may send one final message confirming the opt-out. After opting out, you must provide new consent before Heritage resumes text messages to that number.

Privacy
Heritage does not sell personal information. Mobile information, including telephone numbers, text-messaging originator opt-in data, and consent, is not shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Service providers may process information as needed to deliver messages or support the service on Heritage’s behalf.

Changes
Heritage may update these terms when its messaging practices or requirements change. The effective date on this page identifies the current version. Alerts, authentication, marketing, or other recurring programs require updated disclosures and consent appropriate to that program before launch.
